Fujitsu LifeBook P7010 (P7000 series) on Linux

At the moment, I don’t have time to write up a full page on how to get all the hardware working Linux. For now I will say that almost everything I’ve tested works, including:

  • Speed Stepping
  • X in 1280x768 (using the commercial XAccel server, but it may not be necessary)
  • Wireless and wired ethernet
  • ACPI (except suspending, which has problems)

Overall, I’m very happy with the laptop itself, and its Linux support. If you want more information or help with getting some hardware to work, drop me an email and I’ll see what I can do.
